Join the outdoor photoshoot outing, u'll gain alot of valuable experience with the photographers~

Join lots of outings and don't just limit yourself to model shoots -- it is only a small aspect of photography. Ask many questions especially those who use similar camera and equipment as yours. In that way, it will really shorten your learning curve with good practical experience.
