Hi everybody,

Newbie here. Picked up my first DSLR a few weeks ago.

Thanks to all the posters, especially in the Nikon equipment and price guide forums. Was lurking for a while and really learned a lot.

Got a D40 main to keep up with my 2 yr old daughter - she was getting too fast for our trusty P&S.

Hope to learn more from you guys in this wonderful passion/pastime.

shutterpeep, I got mine at Carrefour (Plaza Singapura) about 3 weeks ago. Came with the 18-55mm kit lens (no VR ) but bundled with a 55-200mm VR . No other freebies though.
