can someone tell me what's "infinity focus"?
so far, i didn't come across with that.

means focussing on far away subjects, so far that the light rays coming in will seem parallel regardless of their actual distances, that's why called infinity.

oh i see.
so it's not a setting or something eh? :dunno:

for cams with manual focus, it's just a physical action to focus at inifinity lor. For cams with manual focus function, usually there is a button with a mountain icon for you to set focus to infinity.

G2 has manual focus, so manual focus to infinity. The mountain icon is for cameras which do not have manual focus. Read the manual on the part of manual focus to find out more.
