Took your advice and increased the contrast of the pictures :)

which picture did you increase contrast? i seem to remember some of them having a lower contrast previously... cos i like lower contrast in this kind of situations... well maybe these are preferences, but did you increase the contrast for #2? cos somehow the irregular polarising effect looks accentuated (or unless i miss it last time i saw it).

might be jpg compression. if he did more editing it might have been accentuated.

actually i thought a bit too much contrast.. hahaha. just slightly, so they don't look too "washed out"

All of them actually, except 3 and 8, but only marginally. I personally prefer pictures that are not overly contrasty as they look more natural. I think the problem with the irregular polarising is probably due JPEG compression artefacts. Again, thanks for your comments :)

very nice pictures. was #9 or any hdr? or all just straight on snaps?

All this could make very good commercials prints! Mind sharing the locations? I think i missed out those places seen in your photos.

Thanks for your kind comments. If only I can make some side income with them :) Here are some information of where the photos are taken.

1 - View from Mount John, a short drive from Lake Tekapo.
2 - View of Lake Wanaka.
3, 4 - Views from the ski resort at the Remarkables.
5, 6 - Views from the Trans Alpine Rail.
7 - View from a helicopter ride en-route to Jura Glacier (from Queenstown).
8 - View of Otago Peninsula
9 - View of Lake Pukaki

Surprised you could tell the difference ;) The changes look rather subtle when I compare them side by side. That aside, your comments are much appreciated.

Thanks for your kind comments. They are all straight snaps. Never tried HDR before (but would love to someday).

10. Photo-stitch of 7 pictures

Nice pics, like the layout and colors.

how about labeling the peaks and its attitudes, since you spent so much work in stitching them...

I think it'll take longer to label the peaks than stitching the photos. I have absolutely no idea what they are :)

hahahaha.... but that is the value of stitching up these photos, i thought.

11. Took a helicopter from Queenstown and landed on top of Jura Glacier. This a view from the top. This is a stich of 6 photos. And please don't ask me to identify the various peaks ;)
