My Minox GT, easily collectors condition:

Battery type is PX27. Hunt high and low and finally found it at www.battery.com.sg at Sim Lim Square. Wonderful shop... And I was a happy boy yesterday.

Wa, very hard working to hunt down batteries

I loaded 4xLR44 batteries & used a scotch tape to tape them together to prevent them from short circuiting the compartment wall.

oh yes he is. i walked forward upon setting my hyperfocal distance..he noticed me...diao me....n i snap. later i quickly walk away sia..haha. looks lik a very unhappy fortune telling

also can try 2 x CR1/3N 3volts lithium cells $6each. it works for me. all bought at simlim level 2 , www.battery.com.sg they also sell the alkaline version of the PX27 5.6volts $8.

i jus roll a piece of paper to cover the metal contacts in the battery chamber..then slot in either 4 xLR44 or 2 x CR1/3N . the px27 no need to do such stuff
