I just updated my gallery with a couple dozen new street pics from Taipei. My favorites are the couple I shot in a tattoo parlor, but there are some other decent ones in there, too.

All were shot with CV gear and image info (location, camera, lens, exposure, film, and processing) can be found by clicking the "More information" button on the top-right above each image. Comments can be left, too.

Thanks!

4th button it, looks like a square within a square. If you hover over it it says "More Information".

Nice series. Like Enforced Nationalism, mouthful & flock of pigeons. Thanks for sharing:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the kind comments and for taking the time to look through my photos.

Enforced Nationalism is a favorite of mine too since one of my twins is in it. :)

"mouthful" was taken during a personal challenge...Efke25 in a Bessa L :D

nice work

Could you tell us abit about your gear?
what lens were you using etc

I am thinking of getting a bessa but cant decide which
I shoot 28mm and sometimes go to 70mm.
Kinda of 60:40 ratio
Which bessa is good for me?

Honestly, I have too much gear...I have an R2 and an R2a plus CV 15/4.5, 21/4, 25/4, 28/1.9, 35/1.7, 50/1.5, 75/2.5, and 90/3.5 lenses.

In my day2day bag (the normal shoulderbag I take to work) I typically carry a body with the either the 50 Nokton or 28 Ultron mounted and the 21 Skopar in the pencil compartment. Most of the new photos were taken with one of those. For specific info, you can click on the "More Information" button on the top-right of a photo (it looks like a box within a box).

I'd suggest an R2a or R2m. The outer edges of the VF are about equal to the AOV of a 28mm lens and it has 35/50/75/90 framelines. The EBL is good enough for a 75mm lens.

For reference, I have written a review of the 28/1.9 Ultron here and one of the 75/2.5 Heliar here.

you got lot of nice series... really inspired by your work...

I also shoot with Bessa camera... mine a Bessa R with COLOR-SKOPAR 35MM F2.5 C.. my main workhorse for all my travel and general photography... here are some of my work in B&W : http://www.flickr.com/photos/verticoastro/sets/72157603957723596/

Great documentation of your trip to Malaysia! Can see that you were definitely having fun with your friends....

Brings back memories of what I used to do when I was younger... a few friends pack into a car and just drive in to Malaysia to have a few days of fun and food... topo and get lost in Mersing, KL, Terengganu, Cameron Highlands, Penang ... and end up in some coffee shop for a bowl of Yong Tau Hoo... :bsmilie:

No doubt.. .one of the better camera I had in my dry box... small, easy storage, easy to handle and Fun to use...
