Hi All,

I have revised my price for Transcend 30x Compact Flash Card after I chok chok my friend but still cannot match oemking pricing. (Sorry I have tried my best) Below are my latest pricing :

1) Transcend 30x 256MB Compact Flash Card (S$101).
2) Transcend 30x 512MB Compact Flash Card (S$193).
3) Transcend 30x 1GB Compact Flash Card (S$365)

All cards come with a plastic case sealed in Retail Packing. (As display in Sim Lim Square).

WARRANTY : My friend promise 5 years warranty ( First year 1-to-1) - Sorry, Buyer have to bear the mailing cost to Hongkong(around S$3) since I didn't make a profit out of this. No receipt will be given but I will provide buyer with my contact and my home address to assure that I am no hit and run.

Interested party pls send me your email to edmund_obh@yahoo.com.sg with your contact, address & the card you are interested in. You only pay me when you receive the card. You may collect personally from my office @Ayer Rajah Cresent or my home @pungol. If you wish your card to be sent via mail you will have to bear the mailing charges (I think should be about $1 for normal mail or $3 for registered mail)

THE LAST ORDER DATE WILL BE EXTENDED TO 23th May 2003 and the goods will be expected to arrive around 2nd June 2003 (My birthday).

Hi I email you a few days back.

Can you explain the warranty conditions in detail

5 years warranty is by your friend or by Transcend ? From what I know, it should be by Transcend. Can i just bring it to the agent at sim lim square ?

Also, What if your friend dis-hounours the warranty as there is no recepit or black and white stating 5 years ?
If you do not provide a receipt how can i claim the warranty. What if you claim i never bought from you ? Who do I turn to in such circumstances ?
Can something be worked out here ?

Lastly, if we are suppose to bear the shipping cost if the product is faulty, how does 1 to 1 come about ?

please explain if possible.

Sorry for the trouble but i am just being cautious as i had bad experiences before

Hi nvseller,

You cannot just bring the card to any again in SLS. I have tried calling one of them and they only entertain cards that are bought from them.

5 years warranty is from Transcend itself but because I don't any place in Singapore where I can get 1-to-1 if there is any problem so I have to go back to my friend to settle for me (That's why buyer have to bear the shipping cost). Do you know any place that can do 1-to-1 in Singapore? If you know, please keep me inform.

I can create a simple receipts if needed.

But I am abit confused especially on the warranty.

1 to 1 is for the 1st year, the rest of the 4 years how does it work then ?

Also, how long do we have to wait for the card to return to singapore if the card is faulty and needs repair ?

For the warranty, isit on where the dealer keeps one section and the customer keeps the other? If Anything wrong I need to show you my section to match yours to claim warranty.
Does it work that way ?

If not, and since no receipt us issued, how would you trace when the warranty starts and ends and who bought from you ?

On the whole does it mean you simply bring the cards in for us and anything wrong (even within 7 days), we have to bear the shipping cost back ?

nvseller, I had PMed edmund_obh about this matter earlier today and had suggested about the receipt aspect, pls give him some time to settle it. I believe within a few days, something can be worked out, and a proper warranty and receipt issue and procedure can be released. And maybe kayabun can also assist in this as well.

Firstly, I would want to stress that I am doing this MO not for profit making and thus any1-to-1 or RMA ,buyer has to bear the shipping cost. The seller is from Hong Kong so the shipment to and fro will be about 2 weeks. As Meng has suggested, I will come out with some form of receipt to indicate your purchase. I have not come out with anything yet because I'm still waiting to see whether OEMKing will deliver his cards, otherwise I will be wasting my effort. Hope you understand.

Hi osmond19, I will placing one order today for some 512MB card and 256MB card, should arrive around end of the month. The 256MB card is only 25x, the 30x will only arrive end of the month.

Hi Osmond19, sorry let me rephrase. I will be getting the 512MB (30x) and 256MB (25x) now and should receive them by end of the month. For 256MB (30x), stock will arrive end of the month for my supplier, so I can only order 256MB (30x) end of the month.

Hey, I'm not businessman ok. I don't want to risk buying the card and end up using myself. I thought you are selling the Sandisk Card yourself, why don't you offer to the clubsnap guys.
