errr... wrong url i think.. its for starting a new thread

interesting report... he says: "It may sound trivial, but I feel that the results share a close resemblance with the medium format." hrmmm

i'm a little confused by something.

first he says about the m8: "But so far I haven't really considered it as a professional option due to its price. The quality is peerless, but it's quite a substantial investment."

Then he says: "Apart from the 35 mm - me and my Summilux are kind of inseparable now - I will be sure to put the entire Summarit family to good digital use at work. The M7 will continue to grace my personal projects."

what does he mean by "digital use at work?" he doesn't think an m8 is a pro option for him. so is he using an epson? or is he scanning negs from the m7? but that's not his "work" camera...

the pictures look good though. question is, how do these cheaper and slower leica lenses compare to the even cheaper and VC ones...

i think he means up to now he had not considered the m8 cos of its price. but after trying out the summarits....he probably plans to move towards leica digital.

"Now that I've discovered the damage they can do in portraiture, I intend to involve the LEICA a lot more in the future."
