Same advice as to Synergyworld... Call them up and ask.
 

bros who got it please do a review.. compare 50mm/f1.8 with 35mm/f1.8 best.. i wanna see if i should get a wider lens or a minolta 50mm/f1.4 since they cost roughly the same. :D:D

You already have 50/1.8, why get a duplicate focal length? Unless you want to shoot at f1.4 all the time?

I would say this 35/1.8 has been long awaited lens for apsc users. Previously only haunted to pay huge premiums for sigma30/1.4 and minolta 28 or 35/2.

Time has come for us finally to enjoy this "normal" lens for apsc in low light.

of course gonna just keep 1.. f1.8 or 1.4 loh... no point keeping 2..
true.. the 35mm is very tempting... maybe can replace my 50/f1.8:)
 

Since the price is out would that mean that its out in stores alr? I'm dying to get my hands on the 35mm too :sweat:.
 

now im thinking 30mm/f2.8 macro or 35mm/f1.8 for walkabout =.=

Even though there are no stocks the last time I check, I was quoted 350 for the lens by the good folks at Cathay.

35mm i wonder how much for street price.. its US$199 in amazon and exchange rate is ~1.32 = ~$260 ... can we just MO and ship to sg :)

Thats over $100 cheaper compared to price in sony sg.. sony got international warranty right? MO may be a good idea.:)
 

anyone check if MS Color has the lens? I think a week and half ago asked them they said shock has not arrive yet.. I have not called them up again since

Just spoke to my regular salesperson from mscolor, stock not arrived yet. No ETA.
