I know i can get cheaper at Amazon japan, but i prefer to see test the items before buying.
are we able to claim tax refund from Yodobashi or must go airport for tax refund?

Or if you have the Yodobashi Member's card you can claim the 10%.

Another way, if you're there long enough, is to ship from Amazon Japan to your hotel, after you're tried it at Yodobashi.

If you have time, scout around. Some other stores might sell for cheaper.
The usual ones - Map Camera, Bic Camera, and the many small ones around the Akiba area.
But usually tax refund is only at the bigger stores.
