m43, I don't think it'll be overpriced, based on US prices, not much more expensive than the E-P3

Bro, iirc, EP3 is USD$899 with kit lens when launched. OM-D is $1100 body only. It's much more expensive than EP3 if you compare this way, but if you add in VF2, then it's closer And compared to weathersealed E5, it's very cheap :bsmilie:

It's keeping too closely with the Oly OM traditional look i think. A little too boxy for my liking too.

+1000 Agree with Oly5050. Same 16mpx sensor as GX1. Same VF as VF-2. only slight difference is TruePic VI and tweaked sensor (better DR?) better IBIS (5 axis - what is that?). retro look.

I think the tweaking relates to the sensor readout speed, as they did with the 12 MP sensor to double the speed for focusing. They've likely turned up the output speed by 4 times. The better dynamic range is just part of the 16 MP sensor. It would be interesting to see if Panasonic will equipment the GX1 replacement with a better sensor and abandon the 16 MP sensor.

Looks like a holding plate between body and battery pack. There's also a additional grip in front, may have something to do with it?
