Hi all,

That's great, compatible to the NP-400. What's the model and output of the battery?

i still think cheaper to get from sony service centre a np-400 spare haha

Just curious which Pentax battery is it?

The New K10D's battery. with 1650mmAh. stronger than NP400.

but when I replace NP400. I need to reset date & time and all my setting is gone. never experience this before. :dunno: :dunno:

If the battery is taken out to long the setting go back to default. I think the backup battery in camera is a rechargable one.

 wow! you ripped your cam apart huh?

No got the picture from Pete Ganzel webpage. His camera got water damage so he decided to strip it for people to see. I have the part manual for Dynax 7 & 5D if anyones intrested.

Can i get a copy of the manual :D

Can you charge the Pentax battery on the Minolta charger ?

The Pentax battery is named DLI-50 and can be used interchangeably in cameras and chargers. Output is 1650mAh.

Don't think the Pentax ones are available in stores yet. I expect them to cost $80-90.
Eastgear NP-400 are rated at 1800mAh and are selling for $35.

The NP400 compatible from Eastgear is overrated at 1800mAH. The most I ever got from that is around 1500maH. In any case, it does not outlast the original KM battery. I would suggest going to Sony Service Centre and order your original battery as "spare parts" for $38. They usually don't stock it, so you have to make 2 trips and it takes about 2 weeks to get it.

No idea how much DLI-50 cost.

I am quite happy that we can use DLI-50. I though we can't get any battery in future. ;p
