Anyone bought the hood for 10/2.8 and 18.5/1.8? Interested to know the price

I don't think Nikon is selling it in Singapore. Last time I asked Nikon they told me they aren't planning to do that. Though, you can order it from the US or Japan.

Yeah, Nikon Singapore is a bit odd, they don't even sell everything they advertise.

You can get it at any decent camera store. The price is slightly over $200.

I was quoted $230 at Cathay, but bargained down to $220...I heard TK photo can get at $210.

Why don't you give MS Color a call? It is not like we are living in the dark ages and need to write letters to dispatch by riders.

Due to bad experiences, sometimes retail shops don't entertain such calls especially calling to check with pricings, sometimes they will get harsh with their words.

From my experience you don't get the best on the phone anyway so you don't need to bother calling the shops in the first place. Sometimes you get the best price buy asking for an e-quote for by just dropping by.

For MSColor, it works, especially if you speak to Florence. And their equote system never seems to work. Send in request for e-quote a couple of times, and the quotes never came.
