Thinks it retails at S$498, forgotten if there is a contract or not.

Off topic, the Samsung S300 is retailing at S$688 w/o line at Mustaffa.

wow that looks sleek man... like one of those mini digital copiers/scanners.

but why cannot come up with a nicer name - "Haier"??? that's erm, "Child of the Sea" right? what's with all the sea names - you would think they learn their lesson from Seagull cameras... :D

Actually I think Haier is quite a nice name, and its wildly successful in the China markets, and also exports to the US, Vietnam and whole list of other countries including Singapore.
.. now consumers & companies wants cheeeapp stuff, not fanciful nice names.

If I am not mistaken, the handphones they sell there, at Mustafa, are 'for export' sets.

:thumbsd: I think it looks ugly. Can't imagine reading long SMS on this device. Long words will become truncated :dunno:

Hmm.... It's from China so I guess the main emphasis would be on chinese characters . So, no truncation problem there.

LOL :bsmilie:

Good for man also... can use to hit each other. For women... it's another type of use :P For women, has to becareful of being electricuted... got conductor :P

Seriously, the ergonomics of the phone is pretty bad. Can you imagine trying to sms on that tube? :D That's why i think the manufacturers are trying to sell it to the shy shy female population who are unable or unwilling to get their hands on a proper...erm...vibrating device... Serious! They'll be able to say "Hey check out my cool new phone. Remember to call me more often hor!" :embrass:

:dent:
