was about to complian in new thread... but found this...

i like the new logo!
the old one with the two rings were not very clear in their function or meaning. is it two letter 'C's? why highlight 'C' instead of 'S' - the functional word in clubsnap? even if the blue ring looks more like the outline of a len, the other ring is extraneous. it looks like it's there solely to add in green and red. in which case, there should be three rings!
the new one looks more like the outline of lens, combined with the RGB colour scheme is an unequivocal statement about what clubsnap is. the colours are bold and - most people wouldn't disagree here - eyecatching. there is less space in between each letter, giving the word 'clubsnap' more impact.
the downside is the choice of the shades of R,G and B chosen. just a bit of tweaking, and it should be excellent!

We have "tweaked" the colors of the logo to make it less "glaring" and thus hopefully does not cause damage to members eyes 
... although, personally, I liked the bright colors, but thats just me and my old age ...
The old logos concentric rings were not meant to portray or convey any particular meaning except maybe to denote that, as a forum, everything circles around the community and its activities and members.
The new logo's swirls are meant to denote an eye, and also being circular, continues the notion of the community, activity and members.
Red, green and blue were chosen as the logo colors as they are the primary colors that today's digital cameras capture.
