This type of +ve canon rumours is also good to spread BBBB:devil:, but some rumours that coz riot like in xinjiang china is evil and deadly.:nono:

This one will make you bloody poor :bsmilie:

Nikon launched new lens. I think Canon will follow! :)

hope they launch a new 50mm 1.4 mkII

Well, I hope they'd launch a UWA EF lens that will compete with Nikkor's 14-24. That should complete the f2.8 trinity lens lineup for Canon.

:Later,

70-200 new IS? damn i bought mine earlier this year, and i think other lenses are more appropriate to replace than this now :)

I think the 70-200 f2.8L IS is still not up to mark with better IQ and better IS from the f4L IS verion.

Yep we really need one. the 16-35 Mk2 is still not even up to par with the 17-35 from Nikon, let alone the 14-24 :(

Thats the only thing which has stopped me from going FF. I am pretty happy with my current 10-22 which is brilliantly sharp and distortion-free

a lighter 24-70 f2.8IS may be too much to ask,
just give me a 50mm f1.4 with proper USM, and no increase in price ;)

Unless the 'Pros' have been complaining major big time, I doubt if the 70-2002.8 IS will be revamped. IIRC it's still on of their top sellers.

The venerable 100-400 is the one that could use the most revamping. It's already a decent lens but it can be great.

Yeah, probably a 24-70 2.8 Hybrid IS. :dunno:

I would love to have a 400mm 5.6L HIS - that's a want that has many people salivating over. Doubt that's gonna come so soon, though. Perhaps a 24-70L HIS like some said.

OT a bit, from CR website, seems like it is more likely to launch 1DIV?

Would love to have this too. esp if its lighter.

haha very unlikely the weight will get lighter.
without IS already so heavy with IS probably another 500grams into the lens?

haha if they were to come out a new mkII for 1.4 i believe it would be around the same price or even higher than the sigma version 800+?
i'm holding my purchase for the next 6mth to see if they will release the new version for 1.4

so many lens are poised for update.of course the old ones are still gd to take picture but really cannnot deny new stuffs can be quite enticing....the new HIS is a huge success it seems and canon trying to bank on it and cash in e profit.

My votes go to those ancient looking primes.....
