Maybe for the 7D if the model is its replacement, but I doubt the 5D price will drop further.
Since I already paid "premium" for getting the 5D in the first shipment, I'll probably hold out for this next one's initial price to "stabilise" before going for the replacement, that is, if I go for it.

I agree. I don't think the D5D price will drop as it is already cheap. Any lower and the whole DSLR market will tumble. It will effect the 7D price for sure.

it may already be affecting 7D price. brother Oracle drop his 7D price in B&S all the way to $1700 still no one buy... skarly all already either got 5D or waiting for 7Di...
