New flash and firmware for Panasonic DMC-LX3

If I remember correctly, there was some discussion in the Sony forums about blown highlight after the A700's firmware updates when it was first release... :think:

that's more to do with dirty flash contacts than faulty firmware...

Most likely not necessary else they won't remove ver 1.1...

until the part where the camera is supposed to automatically restart...
But my screen is struck with the "No Valid Picture To Play"....:think:

Anyone encounter same stuff?

I've updated my LX3 to firmware V1.2 successfully.

"No Valid Picture To Play"....

Still on Playback mode,

Just press Menu -> Go to Spanner Icon -> Version Disp. to see that the firmware has been updated.

Updating the firmware takes less than 20secs.
Finally turned it off after 15mins of wait... hahaha(just to play safe).
Formatted my sdhc card on my mac, formatted once more in LX3.
Check the firmware... WaLah Firmware 1.2.
Took a few shots.. looks promising, specially the shutter revision.:thumbsup:

All existing images in mem card was lost after the update. Make sure you save them 1st b4 flashing.
