Too bad the IA mode cannot shoot both JPEG and RAW. Not sure if it is limited by the LX3 hardware.

I have take a pic of my current one and the one after flashed to firmware 1.1. hmm where should i find a place to host a 2 x 3mb file for u?

You can use Flickr to upload the photos.

good update. pics at home indoors under fluroscent lite now looks quite usable in AWB mode. previously have to tweak....

Was just curious and thinking is there any reason why the battery must be fully charged before update?

This is common for firmware-flashing for most electronic devices; they do not wish for the device to run outta juice halfway b4 the flashing is complete.

They do not want you to look for them in the service center if the battery suddenly ran out during the update... :bsmilie:

Hope can directly update from v1.0 straight to this new one without going through the 1st update.

Better to find out first before you update. Screwing up firmware update can be serious matter...

does anyone still have a copy of the fw1.1 update for me?

It's not common for the update to be so frequent for the same camera... I wonder is there a problem with the old firmware that it is not telling us...

anyone experiencing exposure issues with V1.1 firmware?? just went for an outing @ ECP and found most shots to be way underexposed.

Sound like similar issue after the A700's firmware update....

I'm shooting RAW, yes most of the photos come out underexpose after the firmware upgrade.

Version 1.2 out a month after 1.1? Now that's fast!

no problems for the A700 update...

If I remember correctly, there was some discussion in the Sony forums about blown highlight after the A700's firmware updates when it was first release...

That's why I suspect there maybe a problem with the 1.1 firmware..
