I just saying the canon mark 2 on newly design on the external zoom, is not made like internal zooming there's is more worst to avoid the dust to get through, that is wrong??

Well, in your own words, you said the performance is no good... but reviews have shown it to give much better IQ than mk 1. so that is why I said, performance is not just about protruding inner barrel...

so you only care about internal zooming... so if canon give you a mark 3 that is internal zoom but gives you lousy image quality.. will you still say the performance is awesome?

Canon 24-70 mark 2 is weather sealed as well...
Having a inner barrerl that zooms in and out has no relationship to whether it is weather sealed or not...

The mark 1 is the same, and is weather sealed, the nikon 24-70 is the same, and it is also weather sealed.
