I think u can rest assure on that. Qoo10 reviews are only available to buyers upon receiving the delivered goods. They can make further in depth review. I bought my ep3 from the same seller and its worth the price

Still one leg in one leg out whether to let go my beloved Nikon System D300 + Nikkor DX 17-55 mm f2.8 + 50 mm f1.8 + Nikkor 80-200 f4 Manual + SB900 Flash and jump into this EM5 after reading all the good reviews. So small and light easy to carry around for trips.......tempting.

Just wondering the $899 pricing is Japan set or China set.....

Japan olympus sets can have menu set to English, so not an issue.

I think they r the older stocks. But if Oly recognise the warranty, then not a issue. But better test the electronics and lens quality as the cam could hve left there for a year or two.

The firmware on the older em5 can be upgraded to 2.0, so essentially the difference is in the improved paintwork, grip and dials.

Yes I think is the older version. I bought EP3 from
q00 but didn't bought the EM5 as I bought it earlier this year at a price higher and without lens and batt grip..... Sigh..

bought mine for 899 from QOO and i'm the 1st to post review there, body+Lens is manufacturer in 2012, HLD6 is manufactured in Oct2013, registration of warranty on oly singapore website is also successful. seller declared 280, so no GST.

What is the current price of the EM5 in local shops? How much savings are we looking at. The EM5 is about 2 years old now so how does the performance comapre with the Sonya6000 and the newer EM 10. All 3 look good to me.
Opinions please as I am not too knowledgeable on the mirrorless systems.

BTW buying from Qoo, did the online shop provide a receipt?

there's a digital copy of receipt from Qoo instead of the seller, which states the items purchased, price and date.
no physical copy of receipt is provided in the package i received.

Qoo10 is basically like ebay, a platform. It is like me buying on ebay from authorised reseller.

not sure if they recognise the receipt from Qoo, or if they care if it comes from an authorised reseller since it says international warranty.
i've decided to pull the trigger after i dug around the forum looking at used unit, most are still asking for close to 800-900 without warranty for body only.
might as well get the set from qoo since its new, and comes with the grip, even if Oly doesnt recognise the warranty, its still cheaper than local used set without warranty.
i've registered my warranty anyway, so if they recognise, good. Don't recognise also nevermind, i'm prepared for the worst case scenario.

Looking at this advert, it makes the Qoo offer even better. Only thing is that the QOo offer is with the older lens. However still a huge savings.
