Using the current US to Singapore dollars exchange rate. You paid about S$2000+ for the whole set which is slightly more expensive than what you can get at photography shops in Singapore, not considering those big-brand electronics shop like Harvey Norman and Courts.

However, it is a fantastic set you have there (saving up to get a D80 myself!). Like you I'm new to this forum (in terms of posting) and lets learn more from this forum!!!

CHeers!

Which part of the Middle East are you from?

We now have Goods and Services Tax, so no, its no longer "tax free". Will be raised to 7% from 5% in July.

Yupz... For tourists, at least ALL you electronic purchases will be "tax-free". Just produce your receipt, at the airport before you leave SG, for the refund.

As for the Clean & Green, it really depends on where you are visiting. I guess there will always be a dirty-side to a clean place, vice versa. It just depends on time & place...:)

the agenda look very basic... no one going?

I think it muz be grey set. When I asked for SB600, they quoted me $320. In the end, I bought $345 from AP because I want warranty... I'm a strong believer in Murphy's law! :bsmilie:
