i like the feel of ur 3rd pic, reminds me when i was staying around that area.
i have tried both the 35mm and the 40mm belonging to a friend who got it from hk.
apart from the 5mm diff, there is really not much difference to the output and build.
but the price diff is almost 200usd... am just wondering why ...

Angle of view for 40mm is 56 degress while the 35mm lens is 63 degrees. To some people who can live with the difference of 7 degrees, then by all means stay with the 40mm.
The reason why the 35mm cost much more is because it's difficult to make a lens that fast at that focal length. Comparing to the 35 lux, I would say, the Nokton 35mm/f.14 is only less than 1/6 of the price.
Well, I can't say my CV lenses can hold a candle with the lux, but the fun factor using this lens definitely make every cent spent worth it. It expands the possibilities of available darkness photography which once only available to those who can afford the lux and the f1.2.
Personally, this lens is permanently on my R2A as the 35mm framelines fit like a gloves.
