I was not a sucker for fast lens...

But recently got infected by gommy & hacker.

i thought that you were evil... now i see that there are "evil-er" evils around!! =)

People have the 40 because they are using an RF with 40mm instead of 35mm lines (high magnification). So, there won't be a flood of used 40s on eBay when this lens hits retailers.

Come on... I wouldn't feel good if I know people traded a kidney for a CV lens... if you have to resort to this.. I will rather loan you a unit to save your kidneys or maybe your cornea... :nono:

Chiif, what hood will it be using ?

Actually, it is the same mount as the 40/f1.4 & can use the LH-5. But they came up with a LH-6 which can be used on the 40/f1.4 too.

The once the LH-5 is run out, LH-6 will be the replacement model for LH-5.

For those who owns LH-5, keep it as it will be compatible with the 35/f1.4.
