New camera to replace S602Z

Should i sell my 10D and get this when it is available? I still love my S602 but it function and accessorie support is :thumbsd:

Hopefully the S7000 has

10x zoom
6Mpixels
support TTL
Use AA battery

I might buy one.......if I got spare $$$ :lovegrin:

still using EVF... sigh.. hopefully the low light AF problem would be solved by this release, or at the very least, have a low light AF assist lamp...

100% agree. That is one of the reasons why I sell my S602 previously.

my dearest 70-200f4?

see how lah. Actually I compared some picture taken with my old C5050 and 10D I find that interm of sharpness C5050 slightly weaker than 10D. Noise ratio 10D is definately the Best.

Just my newbie comparsion. Dun flame me hor..

I read somewhere the CCD size of S5000 is smaller than S602... that will affect the pic qualities and limits the flexibility of us taking photos... right??...

maybe S7000 is the one that we should really look forward to...

Dear Matrix,

Please don't do that. DSLR learning curve is very steep and it takes years to take good pics. You've got a line of wonderful equipment. Why sell it for S5000?

How to compare the 2? If you do your sums, you will realise that when you sell your 10D, 70-200 4L, 17-40 4L, the sum of money you will have lost would be cost of S5000. Is that worth it?

Or put it in another way, your S5000 would cost - losses from S602 & accessories + losses from C5050 + accessories + losses from 10D and lens = 2 nos. of S5000.

The sums don't work out at all. Plus all these losses for a digicam?? Crazy!!

You will be a victim of profiteers who want to buy these L lens at a cheap price then you will :cry: .

:kok: 10D and your combo is one of the best combo you can have already...the rest is up to yourself.

The camera to replace S602 is the S7000, not S5000.

S5000 is in-between S602 and S304.
