i love the photo actually, but can't help but wonder why you want to buy a 5d2 if you seem to be churning out perfectly fine photos with the 40D. ehehehe. (j/k)

Those shots taken at ISO 100 with flash, sure looks nice. But, in low light wedding event, 40D high-ISO perfomance far behind 5D Mark II. Beside, FF camera is my ultimate goal too ...

I think you guys should lighten up. The TS was obviously overjoyed with his new camera and just wanted to share with us. It is no different from someone proclaiming to the world he is married. Or having his first baby. Or finding his ideal job. Whatever.

Do Singaporeans have a problem with other people doing well? I think so! I certainly don't see any boasting on the TS's part. Not from my point of view anyway. If you don't like the post, you can always be silent about it. A post with no replies will soon be pushed out of sight.

In fact, if all you who are criticizing him even bother to read the original post. he even posted a review of his new camera on his blog, WITH pictures, AND HD video sample, to boot. Who says he only takes pictures of his new camera?

Besides, this is a gear forum, no? What do you expect people to be discussing? Thailand politics? Greece economic crisis?? That's what the other forums are for - posting and discussing pictures.

Actually, I find the excessive praise and back-patting in some of the posts in the photos forum more amusing than what I see here as heart felt congratulations to someone who has the courage to share his joy to the world.

Let's give the TS the benefit of the doubt that he truly, really wants to share his joy with the rest of us. And besides, you gotta admit, those product shots are not too bad!

Thanks Red Dawn, you got the point. I just wish to share my simple review that might helps other 40D owner who wish to step up to 5D Mark II.

this one made me laugh, because it was next to a picture of the same scene with more yellow in the 5d mark II output.

Sorry, but in my eye, the 40D more yellowish. ;p

but really, start this type of thread, to me is 脱裤放屁. hi guys, i welcome 2 new loaves of bread from the supermarket, one bottle of ribena and a gallon of milk.. then take pictures of my BBB at supermarket.
