At first I was disappointed that it could bot hold f2.8 throughout the zoom. But looking at the 12x zoom I'm quickly reminded of the purpose of this camcorder.
It's really a large sensor ENG camera! This is for sports, concerts, breaking news, run-and-gun when you want everything in sharp focus.
