Actually I have been pretty busy and stressed with work, so I try to take it easy... outside of work...

Ebay has a HK seller selling the lens for a good price, so I'm sure this lens is in stock..
Update 3rd July 2012 (Tuesday):

Called them up at about 750 pm after work and spoke to Mike. He said he still has no idea when the lens will be here, and when I asked about refund, he said he will know when his boss comes in tomorrow. Said to call him back on Thursday, so lets see.

Will update again.

Just insist on a refund and get the lens from else where... no point to keep waiting and waiting.

You sent the lens for warranty claims in January... it is already July now. 6 months have passed and by the time you get back your lens the "shop warranty" will be ending very soon.
 

I really admire your patience. I would tear the shop down or Mike apart if I were you. With that being said, I'm glad I made the choice of not buying anything from them. I was so close to adding some manfrotto tripod and tripod head into cart and click the "checkout" button. Phew

Called them up a little after 6 pm. He seems confident that the lens will be in on Saturday, and will if its here, I will be there to test and pick it up.

Patient... I am...also partly because I'm have some belief that I'm not being scammed... just unhappy that it took so long. As long as the brick-and-mortar stall is still there, I guess I'm still 'safe'...

I would suggest you contact them by email. It's a physical record of all your patience.

Update 6th July 2012
Received a call from Mike at about noon today saying that the lens is in !
Picked up the lens at about 6pm after work today!
Tested it until i'm happy.. its a new good copy without any issues.

Well.. I suppose this is the end of the saga, I didn't get conned or cheated. It just took time..
I got a good price on the lens when I bought it and would still have bought it if I had the chance.
