51. Sensing that I was taking her photos, this little girl paused in her footstep and turn to look at me with a look of bewilderment.

52. Saw this kid falling down and hitting his head hard on a rock while playing. Instead of bawling like what a Singaporean kid might do, he clutch his head for a moment before brushing off the dirt on him and continued playing. While I left the village the next morning I had totally forgotten about him. To my greatest surprise, our paths crosses again moments later in a village across a valley about 2 hours trek away where he was helping his family out with some farming chores before going to school. To travel to school an entire valley away everyday say a lot about the resilience of this kid.

53. The kids were initially quite wary of me and kept their distance. After a while, they seems to have forgotten about my existent and brought their play right under my nose.

54. The end of a school day and long walk home. While the students are require to don school uniforms to school, there are no regulations regarding footwear as all sorts of shoes and flip flops can be seen.

55. The beauty of nature can be at almost every corner like these wild flowers growing out from cracks in the wall.

56. Machapuchare at sunset. Also know as the fish tail mountain because of the V shape summit that resembles the tail of a fish.

57. Annapurna South standing at 7219m.

58. A man seems to be pondering about his journey ahead as he looked out towards the village across the valley. I was at the opposing village the day earlier and met a trekker on his return leg who commented that he counted at least 2000+ steps from the valley to the village on top.

59. One of the many waterfalls that forms as a result of melting glaciers at the top of the mountains.

60. Machapuchare base camp in the distant. That particular morning trek was quite a bleak affair with most of the distant scenery was hidden behind the clouds.
