May I ask what lens do you used for all theseshots? Currently I'm using my 18-105 kit lens, always can't get close enough to them

thanks bro. im using nothing special. just the 14-45mm kit lens on my G1.

hmm. the tip is to get down to their eye level (or since my G1 has the rotating lcd screen, i dont have to crawl on my knees) and approach them slowly.

call me crazy but sometimes i talk to the cats. haha! :bigeyes: like "hi kitty" in a friendly voice. hahaha. :bsmilie:

Thx for the tips, bro. I was on the verge of getting a new zoom lens, say 55 to 200mm as I can't really get close enough to them. I shall try out ur trick tml.

Oh ya, care to share where we can find more strays? I'm living in Jurong, usually dun get to c many cats around.

but dont become like me, and go crazy talking to cats. lol! but yeah slowly stalking them from the front while making the "here kitty kitty" kinda sounds does help soothe them abit.

hmm not sure about jurong, but in my neighbourhood in woodlands, there is this lady who feeds the cats, so i guess thats why there are many strays around.
