Need some advice on Camcorders

Not sure if this is the right place to post , but here goes.

i'm looking for a good camcorder mainly for youtube/family video making.

i require these functions:

1) fast auto focus

2) have an option for a addon mic for better sound quality/able to block out ambien noise?

is there a brand/particular model to look out for?

price wise anything less then 2k

Panasonic SD90 ($1000) and SD9000 ($1700) have mic inputs and shoots edit-friendly iFrame mode. SD90 has 28mm wide angle but no headphone jack. SD9000 has headphone jack and 3MOS but no 28mm wideangle.

It also has iFrame but you're just wasting such a wonderful camera. Then again, it's actually cheaper than DS9000

Sorry for the mistake. SD900/TM900 is the model I'm referring to. Just to add that PX10 shoots MP4 in full HD which should be easier to edit than the the SD900's AVCHD (1080 50i/p)
