[Need Help Please] Pentax K-X kit lens

It only comes with 4 lithium batteries(NOT rechargeable).No mem card included...

A UV filter is good to protect your lens too..

Wow, seems like alot of things to buy than dslr!

I guess i would buy the rechargable battery and memory card first. Student here, no money, got budget.. Haha.

then your priority should be on the sd card. when i got mine, 8gb was $20+ only... no sweat one lah...

the other peripherals and accessories can take it slow.

as for bag, u're better off slinging the cam on you than to put it into your bag with the rest of your barang barang in the same compartment... sure kena scratch one... :sweat:

start saving for a basic lowepro bag... u won't regret it.

To protect the front element from scratches or knocks......

just google it... "hoya uv filter"

not much to describe... its simply a round piece of glass that screws onto the front of your lens.

i don't put a uv filter on my 18-55 kit lens... its not a very expensive / valuable lens... the additional cost of a filter doesn't seem worthwhile... i mean... why pay $20 - $30 to protect a kit lens? :dunno:

if you free, go test a nikon d90 or a canon 550D. through the VF, you see. then go back to the pentax kx , look throught the VF and see. you will know what they meant

Do Best Denki/Havey Norman display Pentax camera? Went to Best Denki today and wanted to try, they dont have it there. =l

the major stores do not carry pentax so don't bother. anyway, about "trying"... most shops will not let u test the body cos of shutter count. at most let u touch touch only.
