Need Help in Lenses for NEX 5N & some other issues

Same with me desiree8, i used to have a canon 60d slr but now i have a 5N and my photography has been more convenient. No more bulky & heavy equipment plus i carry a smaller bag that can fit an extra lens.
Btw, the x1 pro has a super annoying flaw, after it achieved focus it will freeze the frame for a few seconds therefore you will not be able to see whats happening in your scene. Unlike the nex, since it does not freeze the frame, after you achieve focus you can just hold focus then fire at the right moment to capture the shot.

totally love the 5N cos' of its so lightweight and easy to carry!!

Good for u... This doesnt come with BULB mode support though coz I need to do long exposure shots. I ordered this instead:

NEX remote, Sony Nex, IR transmitter for Iphone or any other device | eBay

It can be attached to iPhone, iPod and iPad and just download the NEXRemote app from AppStore to use it as a Infra Red Remote with the app. It supports remote trigger, timer for BULB mode & Intervalometer...

yes i find it quite irritating that it only does one shot and no bulb mode support!
anyhow, is the 2S for focusing? it seem like when I click the S, it just shoots, without focusing, but the 2S, it focuses!

[checked out ebay again, and S is focus and one shot, 2S is 2seconds, focus and shoot. But when I click the S, it doesn't focus!! darn
Quite lag though.

When on vacation, I brought NEX 7 and a sirui tripod, SEL18200, 16MM + Wide angle adapter, SEL50F18, a close-up lens, extra batteries. All these fit into a lowe pro passport sling bag. If I need to carry less, either camera with SEL18200 or Sigma 30mm only.

exactly. most of their bags look good but not really great in terms of usability to customize where you wanna place things.

for that price, i'd rather get a Timbuk2... which is more affordable, and yet is very water resistant.

The remote does support bulb mode. Just press once on S to open the shutter and press again to close. Very happy to get this for just 5 bucks!
