i see some of people here the pics they took with the same lens im using and same camera im using but get a good composition wif no noise and clear picture. can i get some tips from you guys?

Hi there, I'm using a D80 system, same as you do. Digital noise always a huge factor for us but I only experience noise at iso level 400<. At times I enhance the photo too much, I experienced too much of noise amplification too..

I usually shoot with vivid mode. hope that helps.:bsmilie:

Can you post the full exif? You stripped it out of that image.

Is it possible you have set the D-Lighting to Hi?

how to set the d lighting?not sure about that..

but in the 1st place d80 got d-lighting meh? hmmmm

It does. A quick google turns up that d-lighting is under the 'retouch' menu option.

wa! haha i nvr realise that.. lol.. i think i use the P mode i think la not sure..

Gentlemen,

R T F M.

We poiint you in the right direction, you go do the rest. If not, hand us your camera, and we do it for you.

BTW, noise are mostly dotted. if the things you see are in PATCHES, its the excellent by-product of D-lighting. Most of the time.
