Anyone tried Tianya CPL? Pls comment, its quite cheap on ebay.

Hoya brand is it ok? Est $40 from OP.

The package (in green) of the Hoya CPL filter is different from those found in MS, TK & AP (in blue). I wonder are they of the same quality?

It seem that Hoya CPL that OP is selling cheaper than those found in other shops, is it a different grade?

hey i checked out cathay photo, they have a tokina 52mm CPL for $29. is it any good? cause $29 sounds like a real steal for a CPL. are the polarising properties of a 29$ tokina cpl good enough to create some deep blue skies?

Another note is when u clean your CPL, do not clean the rear part as that's the polarising film. Clean only the exterior.

My Tamron 72mm CPL filter cost me much less.... and it is working fine with me... :)

I got a Tianya CPL from ebay for 7$ ( 58mm ). Well, haven't tried on actual shoot, but you can see effect of color changing from that filter and increase in IQ. Quite OK, I hope.
Tried to put it on my 75-300 and realize that it will obstruct the light to come in --> not good for tele lens :(
