May I know beside Artworkfoto (no stock), who are carrying the Samyang 7.5mm lens locally? Thanks.

I'm just curious if anyone has kept or have both lenses in their kit?

To be frank, for me 20mm is not wide enough on m4/3 as i use my OMD mainly for general purpose camera or rather for wide angle/landscape so am thinking to get pana 7-14mm (though i've to sacrifice the compactness)
Goodluck with your lens selection

when i first started out with MFT EP1 and the 17/2.8, I had photography friends who had laughed at me (Canon, Nikon user mainly la) saying that MFT was doomed to fail. One common point they would quote is that if my 24-70/f2.8 is 'this' size already . I can't believe that MFT can make any decent fast lens in a small package. Some would hold onto their beloved DSLRs and laugh at my camera as if it was a toy.
today, i'm glad i stuck with MFT. Really waited a long time but finally with the intro of really fast lens such as 12-35/2.8 . 35-100/2.8, 17/1.8 etc MFT is really catching up and in some instances, doing better than the other powerhouses.
wait till Oly or Pana releases the 12-100mm/f2.8 or even at f2. Then it will be really the day where I'll leave home with 2 lenses only, the other being a prime.
just some random thoughts.![]()
It's so refreshing to see this thread re-surface again after I first started it in March 2012.
It's already been 10 months, so much has happened since, and so many new products have been released for the m43 format.
For me, I ended up buying the 25/1.4 and 7-14/4 for my trip to Japan.
They also served me well for subsequent trips, events and even my brother's wedding. I am a very happy user, especially with the 25/1.4.
But if you ask me now, I'd get the 12-35/2.8, 35-100/2.8 and also keep my 25/1.4 and 7-14/4.
All of them serve their own special purpose, and with these 4 lens, you can practically do anything (except telephoto).
All 4 also fit just nicely into a Billingham Hadley Pro, just nice for walking around and taking pictures.![]()
That's what I have!
25/1.4 for the occasional street photography but the workhorses are 12-35/2.8 and 35-100/2.8. With the Panny lenses, you really don't need anything else... (well for now)![]()
