To all newbie, if you want portfolio, shoot for friends or relative first (free lah), then be a pro's back up photographer for like 1 or 2 shoots. I am sure alot of pros here dun mind.

Then when you got confident, can go and chio business at pro's rate lor, dun lower just to get a gig. Think of your future gigs....

come on . $ 500 -600. which part of the photographer expenses you want to pay for .. shoot in the morning and show montage in the evening .. you think super man. is it ..

I heard from a friend got a photographer from what company named studio* is taking up a full day shoot at $450 with 200-300 4R printouts. 1/2 day he is doing at $250. Might as well go and sleep the fellow. Making his skill cheapskate. Really a market spoiler. Somemore open a photo studio and offer these type of prices. :angry:

Most probably this photographer(s) are from Malaysia. Just imagine the exchange rate after the job done!:sweat:

4 hours to come up with a montage is no joke. Deliver 350 images is no joke. P.S ALL photos (which can run up to 1-2k, many of which may be repeated/similar shots) is pure madness. Can be done of course. Grossly compromise on quality. Like what the threadstarter had said, he's looking for a "cheap photographer", and we gotta respect that.

Even one dinner table in an average hotel on the wedding night might cost equal or more than the price he's asking for.
Only a nincompoop will do this kind of sh*t job. Just like GIGO (garbage in, garbage out).
