Wonderful pictures![]()
plan to take some pics this sat.
for shots just before it gets totally dark, ie sky is still dark blue eg pic #15, do you set to a certain WB eg tungsten in order to give more emphasis to the skyline lights?
is the next rehears this sat?
tks alling...
I have some qns to ask... do i correct the distortion before stitching them or after stitching them? and which sw do you use to correct the distortion or any recommended or easier way to correct it?
tks for the advise in advance...![]()
really great shots for 26th June!
Below are my usual steps when processing pano:
1) Use PS to stitch those pics
2) use the auto blend in PS
3) use the Lens correction in PS to correct the distortion
Hope this helps.
hi kshen.. nice photos!May I know what lens you are using and also the settings
thanks so much!
we will be there at the NDP preview this Sat...
hi kym2609,hey kelly, your shots are really amazing! how to u get the background of the fireworks to be brightly lit? care to share your settings?
:bsmilie: very keen to learn from u..
hi kym2609,
all my shots here are taken using bulb mode with aperture set at F11... usually i open the shutter for between 4-9sec... depends on the no. of fireworks i want to sees in the frame... before hand i meter the background so that I roughly know how long i can expose so as not to underexpose or over expose the background. Bare in mind that u have to cater in the light from the fireworks too...
hope it helps.![]()
Some sharing of my pic taken during the combine rehearsal 2 & 3... all C & C welcome!

yes nice.
btw, they're not the black knights. just a couple of F16s
Thanks for your reply! just wondering what metering did u use? i'm a canon user and i set my shots to evaluative metering, not sure whether it's suitable not.. here's 3 shots i took during NE2 too..
doesn't seem to achieve what u have![]()
