the map that sgow where the fireworks is firing is wrong info.. where you got that info.. this year.. pratice track is close and the new place will be just next to the tennis court.. iam 1 of the those guy down there for the firework preparation ..

the timing will be.
First firing - 20:03
2nd Firing -20:11

I know how to get there from Kallang MRT Station (by walking to the stadium den to kallang park)( so tentatively its there.

However, if someone knows a shorter route there via lavender or anywhere, feel free to say so.

Hi,

Think it is better to meet at Lavender MRT station den proceed there. Reason being at Kallang MRT there will be huge crowds of ppl all proceeding towards the stadium and it will be quite chaotic....Lavender will be less packed and thus easier to meet up. Also it would be better to fix the meeting time earlier...coz as RuthBaby had commented, by 6 plus most of the good spots have been taken up liao. How about meeting up at 5 or 5.30 pm instead? (or maybe get some one to go earlier, say abt 4pm to lay out white tape and "chope" the area for CS members) :bsmilie:

p.s djchris: I know how to get to stadium frm Lavender station, but I might be going earlier to the stadium.

5 pm is fine, not too early, not very late. we need to move at 5pm sharp, cannot wait wait here wait wait there and we have to move fast, not chat chat here chat chat there on the way there.
