8 April 2011 Friday and back in manila..after a long 8 hour road trip..
headed to town and was intent on taking photos of 2 churches..
The San Sebastian Church which was my high school alma mater. Completed in 1891, it is considered as the only all-steel church in asia and Gustav Eiffel was involved in the design and construction of the church..
too bad the above photo was ruined by so much electrical wires dangling in the air.. will probably take a reshoot of this one once i return in the future and armed with a wide angle lens..
Quiapo Church on a Friday late afternoon with devotees, tarot card reader and street vendors..
3 stitched photo vertically shot using a 28-200 tamron
last day of our trip..
9 April 2011
a quick visit to Fort Santiago.
inside the Rizal Shrine in Fort Santiago is a room called The Valedectory Poem Room. its a Rectangular Room with both long ends of the marbled wall with engraving of Jose Rizal's writings..
Ayala Bridge taken on our way to the airport going back to SG.
bring my daughter to the playground whilw waiting for my wife who went to the market. first time experienced a 5 year old bully in the playground who blocks the playbridge in the above photo asking for money so that everykid can pass...zzz
and this shot which would probably stand out as the shot that i liked the best for that outing..
this is also probably my very first time to shoot under extreme brightness and i didnt bring any type of filter and with water reflection all over.. most of my photos taken had CA though negligible and can be corrected in the post process..
