Nice shots !

One question on picture #44.

Why does the fish appear in front of the bird's beak ?

Thanks :) actually #44 is an earlier shot then #43 in a sequence of about 20 shots, sad to say many in this sequence couldn't make it as the hunting happened so fast that i find myself fighting with my tripod to get in position and most shots came out blur.

The heron actually pierced its beak into the fish during the catch, that is why it appears as though the fish is sitting on its beak without any support, below are a few less successful shots from a different angle, sorry for the slight blurry IQ. The heron didn't consume the fish on the rock, some noisy tourists came and it flew away with fish still on its beak.
