National services (NS) photography unit

Anyone from there or know anyone inside? Wonder if one can shoot all day in NS, that'll be great!

Not sure what is this unit but you should consult your/the unit for regulation or guideline. Discussion of information related to military should be avoided.

you mean army news? They are at bukit panjang camp. But wont be revealing which unit..

But i heard recently new batches just went in.

To be a photographer for army news, you need to be PES C/E (non combat fit), >=1 year before ORD. Than must apply and go for interviews. but max. they only have 2 photographers i think.

There's Army News, Navy News, Air Force News, Pioneer Magazine, Air Photo Unit. There may be more, but more obscure in their own camps. There's no given, and most likely be posted to such by random (or based probably or maybe not, on your aptitude or your sch records. eg. photography club? )

Just a guess, nothing concrete). Never heard of anyone "pulling strings", unless you really won major awards and is a well known name. So there's really nothing much to discuss bout "wanting to be posted to such and such". Hope the info helps.
