Super long weekend trip to dayang. Made for 4 dives at pinang area in search of the elusive froggie but to no avail. Lotsa nudis though so this trip is dedicated to the jewels of the underwater world.
There's always been many variety of nudis in dayang/aur area. Just gotta know where to look. Personally, i like: Dayang jetty -- on the sand & tyre areas 5-12 m, Rayner's rock -- whip coral garden at 15-25 m on the sand & 8-15m on the walls where the sponges and soft corals are, Captain's point -- Sand patches 15-20m & rock faces at 5-10m, Pinang -- walls with sponges/hydriods/soft corals at 5-20m, Lang (the side facing mersing) -- sandy patches with coral rubble at 10-20m.
Places like teluk meriam & teluk teluran has it's fair share of surprises too. But in Dayang i find Captain's point/Pinang to be the most fruitful for nudi hunting. That being said many of the nudis i find sometimes are in the 1cm range so it'll be hard to spot at the best of times.
