this completes the garden segment of the study tour, there are pictures of other temples (without zen gardens) which i'll process later when there's time. as tripod/monopod are banned from temple grounds, only a few shots of night lightings were taken, apologies for not being able to show more. the series is compiled into a small booklet for my friends. the dividing line is kept in this posting as reference for layout as well as discourage online plagiarism. thanks for viewing.

a lot of layout design, effort and work there.
i think it is a great collection to be proud of!

these appeal very much to me.
i notice the pics has been cut into half in the middle, is it meant for the book folding?
if so, i believe the printed version would have much impact than these pictures on screen.

cheers~
james

thanks james, yes they are meant to be printed, apologies for not explaining earlier, wanted to finish the stuff first :)

Ummm.... what are you trying to show?

if it's meaningless to you then it's meaningless, nothing more than that :)

thanks babykailan, it's kind of a rush job given the little time  there's more to the collection, will process much later, cheers :)

all i can say is...WOW!

that is an amazing collection of photos. very inspirational to learning photographers like myself.

thanks :)

but can't really accept the compliment. actually the entire trip was especially rushed, most of the time i don't get the pictures i really want due to stress from myself, so they end up being more like records of the places.

Need to ask this... you are gonna get it printed into a coffee table book rite?

I'm interested in doing something like that for my travels as well.. so do bear with all my questions!

1) What software do you use to do layout?
2) Is there a publisher/ shop that can do something like that?
3) Do you print in bulk or only 1 book for yourself? (I'm thinking of doing it for just myself)
4) How much will it cost for printing double sided for 1 page? (size perhaps A3?)

Sorry... i'm really interested but duno how to go about doing it...
