Hi, IMHO, for photo #3, the tone of her hand is a bit pale and, if I may say so, feels a bit unnatural as the difference of colour from the arm is rather obvious...
Nevertheless, I enjoy the series very much- love how you narrated her expressions especially #2 and #6 :)
Superb work!

Nice

I think that her smile is beautifully and naturally brought across.
If you look long enough, the smile will get to you...

Love her smile. :D

I'm curious... what did you use for lighting? Did you bring your own lighting setup or use existing light?

Looks like the light was obtained from a glass panel or some showcase. Didn't look like it's from a softbox.

really nice!

nice color and very sharp

I used existing light from the window of the shop nearby, not using flash or setup any other lighting.

wu ha ha ha.. I feel so sad bout my 1000D now..

thank you.. bye bye..

*goes to end life*

Fantastic colors, poses, everything. May i ask how did you set the WB/Iso or some PP done? Thanks.

i simply say :thumbsup::thumbsup: to these photos...
simple, n just nice... :)

If that's the case, I think you'd put me to shame. Initially, it pass me on as pictures taken in a studio, but then the backgrd give a telltale sign. However the existing light does give a very good colour balance, that is, if you had not tweak anything yet. Very clean, very neat.

Tonight, I'll upload 1 RAW file for your reference.

#1 & #7 are exceptional captures of this stunning model (IMHO).
The rest are simply great. You're rite about the smile...

Technically, nothing to slam. Focus is on, subject is sharp, background blurred by bokeh, color pleaseing ... and the model is beautiful.

Just one question I like to ask. Did you cropped off her limbs deliberately? In every single picture, Nana's various body parts were mercilessly chopped off.

Yes, that's my portrait style. I don't know if it's good or bad, pls let me know.

Generally, I cannot stand such random amputation. My style, limbs to not get cropped, and if I have to, they are done so deliberately to create an illusion that they are not amputated.

Gneraly, cropping below the knee looks amputated, above is ok, that applies to the arms too, above elbow ok, below elbow chopped off. When you cropped of hands and feet, or fingers and toes, never a good thing.

For certain dramatic artistic expression, you can do whatever you want, but you better be clear of what you are doing.

In your Nana series, almost every one of the cropped limbs looked chopped off.

Thank you. I got it. Will be more careful in next series.

OK - let's move beyond the cropping issue (DS is always right ;))

the shots are great - well done.
Just looked at the exif. Also well done, at 1/40, the sharpness is excellent.
Did you use a monopod? or tripod?

I used existing light from the window of the shop nearby, not using flash or setup any other lighting.

That's the best and cheapest lighting you can get, and it gives very good results too. Great stuff bro.

First three shots is "WOW"

Next three shots are "Fall in love with her"

When the candids come in "Melt already"
