First - Abit out of focus, can be better. Lighting wise, you can see reflection on the glass which is abit distracting.

Second - I like this one, it's well places and the number 7 lies quite well in the center.

#1 is snapshot-ish. Not much remarkable about it. Out of focus and no outstanding subject.
#2 is well done. I like the subtle tones and good exposure.

I liked shot 2.

Maybe its better to photoshop away the right side and leave only the rotating gear thing to set the time. The top right seems abit distracting to me.
