My toys thread

Nice lighting & PP :)
good way to learn bout product & potrait photography :)

i love your collection.
lighting and composition are spot on.
some feel redundant though, but i guess it's just because of too many posts of one subject at one time. (don't stop though, i'm a fan of these)

Hehe actually I totally agree with you being redundant.

That's why I'm doing a series to do a single portrait of each figure rather than so many shots only varying angles :)

Nope. Nothing much that interests me. Gotta save money... =x

If my memory serve me right this is shot with Tamron 90mm 2.8 Macro.

Tripod, remote, natural light and a piece of A4 white paper as reflector.

Sneak in an illustration.

Originally thinking of it as a concept for shoot. Might as well draw it.. =x

You really have the talent, you can bring figurine to life. Saw your website, good artwork and photography you have there. Keep it up man.

Thanks bro! :)

Not sure if I posted this but this was done almost a year ago.
I should continue this series man

Yo, Was looking through your thread, really like the lighting effects you achieved on such "a budget".

Just have a little question, your two lamps in your indoor setting, what kinda lights are you using. Mainly florescent?

Um sorry man. I don't exactly know what sort of lights they all. All I know is they emit lights =x

I'm bad with technical stuff x_x

Hahah it's fine, I'm no pro either. your lights, you are using those that emit cooler colours right? Wonder how I can balance mine, because 1 Warm 1 Cool =/

I think the lights are slightly warmer, prolly a teeny weeny bit of yellowish.

But you can always do custom white balance or adjust in lightroom?

That's what I do anyway.

Likelikelike! Very creative and inspiring.. :))

Shooting this figu in a very simple manner. Nothing Fancy :)

Thanks bro.

I think I shall start a portrait series of my scaled figurines. Should look nice together XD

Shot another figu.

It looks like she is alive. It gives me a boner!!!
