You really do have the guts to pursue your passion, just like my cousin sis that'd gone to france to pursue arts even though she'd good grades, never came back. For me, I'll never be much a photographer or a shooter even. What I like more is craftwork, making miniature stuffs.

Unlike you guys & girls, I can't 'let go' of my fears to do what I like and 'go with the flow'. Always, food & family first. I'm begining to talk-rot, anyway, best wishes, keep the good work coming!!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Would agree to some extent. Singapore was never a hub for art to start with. However, the years in the building perhaps will bring in harvest from our younger generation. I did managed to start pretty early then when I didn't have much to lose, and I actually discovered photography by chance. Anyway buddy, Good luck in whatever you may do. It is always said that Art never brings in the dough, I thought otherwise. but if big money is what one needs, than it surely isn't photography. Passion is the key ingredient to having a good career...

Once i heard a saying.... cant really remember the exact words,
however it goes something like this:

Pursue your dreams with full passion.
The rest will follow.

your dreams = photography, painting, design, whatever
full passion = determination, love of the subject, NEVER say die, die hard
the rest = fame, fortune, career, recognition, awards, knowledge, wisdom, etc...

.... and it aint that easy ....

Kinda, just 4ft X 8 ft, a bigger studio would make lotsa creation possible... Some things we just can't do without, like space and effort to create, and always not being mentioned, The clearing up of the aftermath...

In addition to my works, here's last year's ad campaign... Being commercial, it's not always fashion, highly glamourous lifestyle, or rather shooting what you like. We remain competant as much as possible. One simple thing to remember, Fashion or rather art alone is not going to realize your dreams. It's still Singapore in the midst of developing itself into an art central.

Male nudes can post; females will have to be be censored, deleted or banned.

We are not discussing semantics here. If you are being honest abt not starting a "war", I suggest you leave this thread alone.

Use your common sense. a male subject can walk down Orchard Road without his shirt on while a female can't. At sentosa, men are likely to be found walking around with their tops off while the females still need to wear something to ensure they do not expose themselves.

Now, why don't you go tell the authorities abt the "double standards" that exist?

The rules are laid down as such. i do not see a need for you to come in to ask questions when their answers are already quite obvious.

If you wish to further engage Clubsnap regarding this particular issue, kindly let us know. I am sure the administrators or myself will be more than happy to explain CS's stand to you.
