I think there a mistake, SX20IS is out @ $749...

The SX20is is slightly improve by the 720HD video and the 12mp sensor...the zoom etc is still the same.,,n the price is very reasonable...

talking abt the SX20, really find it out of point, it's basically a clone of the SX10 plus minus minor differences and 2 extra megapixel, HD video (1280 x 720) but not Full HD (SX1 1920 x 1080) :dunno:

I've tried successfully on plants as well, but not on human, since the smaller sensor of a prosumer compare to DSLR, will not able to produce bokeh, unless your subject very close to your camera (lens), and the back ground very far away, which is when the macro mode (shooting plants).

i took those shots on normal mode... not macro, i only use macro when taking photos of food... haha...

think its impossible to bokeh on a human than... unlesss he looks like a plant... haha

if u install CDHK, u can customise the SX10 for longer exposure...

CDHK adds extra features to ur camera, including RAW mode

google CDHK and read up for more details
