What do you mean by your ND was not enough for sunrise? Post the picture you took.

as in its still too bright the stop down was not enuff.

so theres no pics as samples

IN wat circumstances then i off the IS beside using on fireworks? ? Thanks

are you kidding me? shoots bally overpriced me.

where you bought?

my hoya uv is 20bucks and third party one i bargained got 30bucks :(

btw i bought nd filter at john 3:16 i tried taking during sunrise bright scene, its not enuff leh
ND4, which ND do you suggest? :( or will it work with a darker scene lets say at 7pm sunset?

third party $27 from the small camera shop in penesula plaza , near cp
the UV i've got it from CP
the CPL MS color at ang mo hub.

yeah darker scene will help, what do you take btw?

Mostly when you are using tripod ... ;)

No IS with using hand usually the image will blur ... except you have 100% unshakable hand hehe

shoots. means everything i paid was over the retail price leh. hehe. so gullible. i better buy a cheap cheap CPL to compensate all loses.

i went to take the sunrise. i think i shall just try the darker lit skies during sunset or i'll start blaming that i got a imitation ND :X

Hmm.. Later I wanna try without IS while hand holding to see my hands good or not. Took me about 100+ shots to stabilise my hands when using EOS 450D with lens that dun have IS.

It will be quite difficult to get something that will darken the sun that much. Also, the rest of your picture will be really dark then. Do not forget, the dynamic range involved when shooting such a photo is really big.

Forget the 1000D. Pricing wise, the D80 is more then the 450D, though with the new D90, prices might drop.

IS should be off when on a sturdy tripod. Otherwise, just leave it on all the time. If you are doing panning shots, turn it to panning IS.

Thanks alot for answering my question. My questions usually get ignored..:thumbsup:
